"Fashion for Futures"
A fundraiser to be held at the Chelsea Room NYC on April 30th, 2011 from 9pm - 11pm.
Awareness Works (www.awarenessworksonline.org) not-for-profit organization is teaming up with the Vogue magazine featured designers, The Hemma Collection (www.thehemmacollection.com) to present their 2011 Men's and Women's line while raising awareness about the lack of education in sub-saharan Africa.
The event will consist of a silent auction and raffle, cocktail reception and champagne toast, live DJ and dancing, as well as the fashion presentation. During the event, there will also be networking opportunities and resources presented on how to become more involved in humanitarian work and global issues.
100% of profit will go to the La Yahoushua junior secondary school in Ghana to provide scholarships, school materials and updated facilities for the children!
