On Thursday, July 14, Frente Cumbiero performs. The group's recent recording,Frente Cumbiero Meets Mad Professor, is a fascinating mix of classic Jamaican dub and cumbia. MoMA Premiere: Miranda July's The Future Wednesday, July 13, 7:30 p.m. Theater 1 2011. Germany/USA. Directed by Miranda July. A filmmaker, performance artist, and writer, July is internationally renowned for her moving-image and written works. The Future, July's sophomore feature, is a compelling, melancholic comedy chronicling the fateful month that passes while a young couple waits to bring home their adopted cat, Paw Paw.
