A few words from The Printup herself!

Little do people realize that ThePrintupList is run on magic!

Ok, maybe not MMAAAAAGGICCC but its run from little elves... ok ok thats not totally true. In fact its just one person (ME!!) along with the help of everyone (you guys.) Its all updated by myself when ever something awesome pops up, is emailed, posted, whichever. It was something I created back back in my college days in 2007 as a way to share my party info wealth to all my friends and fellow party people. I was part of an awesome P"art"Y collective Peace of Pizza (google us, we ruled) and got to host and throw events around NYC. That eventually turned into hosting at other major events and eventually Djin'. As a Native New Yorker I seemed to gather a great network of nightlife and events connections over the many years. Those connections lead to details and invites to parties, sample sales, art openings..anything basically that was a happening in NYC. This was all pre twitter, pre facebook when to be in the know was to be in the know. Ahhh the good ol' days of a real hidden gem. I wanted to hook my friends up to get into these events, which lead to them wanted to hook their friends up and so forth... it was a non stop text message, email battle of the question WHATS GOING ON TONIGHT?! WHERES THE PARTY?!

SO I decided to start a blog.

Well bottom line(I seriously could go on, and on but I will spare you too much, as I feel I have revealed too much already)

This site is developed as a free service to my fellow Party People!

But in order to keep it filled with fun we need to make sure the word gets out!The more who tweet and the more who post the more invites I get sent, the more events contact me, the more I can post and share.

SO before you go to sleep (cue some patriotic song and the image of a flag swaying in the wind)
