The multi-talented Lady Starlight who has toured around the world with the likes of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy, Anthrax, and Zakk Wylde will spin at COVERGIRL Makeup's exclusive Fashion Week party at Rokk City, 22 W. 39th Street (5th &6th) on Thursday, February 16th at 9PM, celebrating the debut of fashion designer Lauren Bagliore. The one-time fete is being produced by entertainment guru Jeff Krauss, Star Vodka owner Charles Ferri, event planner Victoria Wells and Michael James with sponsorship by Polyvore, Star Vodka, Dining Engagement Group, Bella magazine, 123 Talent, Decadence Group, FABYORK, and Billionaires Row.
Lady Starlight is an American Rock 'N' Roll DJ who resides on the lower east side of Manhattan. About her long-time friend, the incomparable singer Lady Gaga, Starlight says, "I adore Gaga....working with her is like being on a 'Thelma and Louise' style road trip! The one thing people don't know about her....she is deceptively normal."
The last time Lady Starlight spun at a party for producer Jeff Krauss at the Empire State Bldg, the police rushed in to close down the space due to overcrowding. Explains Krauss, "Once Starlight arrived, guests at the party starting texting like crazy, it was bedlam." The event was also attended by fashion designer Richie Rich.
In addition to the rockin' music by Lady Starlight, celebrated DJs Stacy Stylez, and Freddy Bastone will join her in the booth. Many celebrities have represented COVERGIRL over the years including Drew Barrymore, Tyra Banks, Brandy, Molly Sims, Faith Hill, Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Keri Russell, Taylor Swift, Carrie Tivador, Dania Ramirez, and Jennifer O'Neill.
