SYNOPSISIn this stylish, gothic thriller, 19th-century Baltimore is terrorized by a string of horrific murders inspired by the recently published works of notorious author Edgar Allan Poe (John Cusack). After initially suspecting Poe of the crime, young detective Emmett Fields (Luke Evans, Immortals) soon joins forces with the master of the macabre to try to get inside the killer’s mind and stop him from turning more of Poe’s brutal stories into blood-chilling reality. The race to find the killer turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse that only escalates when Poe’s true love, Emily (
Alice Eve, She’s Out of My League) becomes the murderer’s next target. Intrepid Pictures’ The Raven also stars Brendan Gleeson (
In Bruges) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen (
Faster).
