The Armory Show and Art21 invite you to join us on June 18th, from 6:00-8:30 pm where we will be presenting an Outdoor Summer Film Fest at Big Screen Plaza on 6th Avenue between 29th and 30th Street to celebrate the launch of Year 2 of New York Close Up. A full retrospective of Art21's New York Close Up films, along with premieres of new films to date, will screen on a 30 x 16 foot HD-format LED screen, nestled within a 10,000 square foot outdoor venue complete with wood boardwalk, bistro tables, tiki bar, and fish/burger shacks. The eight artists included in Year 2 of New York Close Up broaden the scope of cultural production in New York City and will include: Diana Al-Hadid (Syria) David Brooks (United States) Josephine Halvorson (United States) Liz Magic Laser (United States) Eddie Martinez (United States) Alejandro Almanza Pereda (Mexico) Mika Rottenberg (Argentina & Israel) Erin Shirreff (Canada) We hope you will join us!
