Summer Thunder ​is a free outdoor concert series held at Union Pool. Beginning in 2010 as a monthly free daytime concert series (five shows taking place from May through September), Summer Thunder expanded to a weekly event that drew thousands of attendees over the course of 13 shows in 2014. Over the last four years, the series has featured a diverse lineup of performers including: J. Mascis, Pissed Jeans, Widowspeak, Thurston Moore, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), Light Asylum, Ex­ Cult, Jessica Pratt, Dam Funk, The Men, Har Mar Superstar, Johnny Fritz, Jonathan Toubin, Pampers, Luke Temple and many more....
