This Thursday, we come together to get down and get generous for our Oakland brothers, sisters and others who lost so much in the warehouse fire this past weekend.
100% of door donations plus a percentage of bar will go directly to the victims & families fund:
This event will have everything you could wish for in a Thursday night party- two rooms of DJs, aerial spectacles and performance art dancers, beauty stations and surprises and everything else we can pull together to make this night incredible. Hit us up if you want to get involved: info@houseofyes.org
There will be a very special FIRE-ED class taught by Tara Mc Manus in the Onyx room (just off the courtyard) during the party. Topics covered include How buildings burn, ventilation, extinguishers, escape plans, fire guards, common combustible hazards, flameproofing textiles and other materials, and more. This is the perfect opportunity for those involved in DIY / underground / creative culture to learn more about how to fireproof their spaces!

Fundraisers were the only way we were able to start over after our fire at the first House of Yes in 2008. Our beloved cat was lost along with the living space of our 10 residents. People organized for us. Donations fed and clothed us. This devastation hits home hard, and inspires us to come together and use our resources to help in any we possibly can.
Nothing can replace the lives lost, but together we can celebrate this precious fragile thing called life and help ease the financial burden that falls on families and friends and communities after an intense sudden tragedy.
We hope you will join us with your body and your heart. Dance Hard. Give Harder.
** RSVP to let us know you're coming. Donations will be collected at the door. **
