9/25/2008- Salute to Firefighters
| Thanks to Sarah for emailing me this wonderful event. I hope some of you can show up and support the hard work the firefighters have been doing for NYC. Adam's Angels Present Our Third Annual Salute to Firefighters Live Music by: The Ruffians ~ Free drink courtesy of Saloon To Benefit: FDNY VFW ~ Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund ~ Thomas R. Elsasser Fund Presale Pricing (check must be postmarked by Sept 15th): Firefighter Ticket: $5 each Miltary/Veteran Ticket: $5 each Friend Tickets: $15 each For up-to-date event information, please visit: www.AdamsAngels.org _______________________ PURCHASING TICKETS: Should you wish to be on our event's host committee, please consider rounding up your friends and purchasing (5) friend tickets or (5) firefighter tickets. As a thank you, we'll be happy to list you on our materials as a host committee member. Email Salute2ff@aol.com. Presale tickets are $15 for friends and $5 for firefighters (this price is also extended to military members and veterans) through September 15th. We encourage you to pre-purchase your ticket(s) as we expect to once again sell out this amazing event. You can send a check made out to one of our three charities: FDNY VFW ~ Terry Farrell Firefighter Fund ~ Thomas Elsasser Fund (or, you can choose to break up the amount in three seperate checks--- unfortunately, since Adam's Angels does not accept financial contributions, this is the only way we can do this) to (along with a note saying how many friend/firefighter tickets you are ordering as well as your email and cell #): Salute to Firefighters c/o Tony Lilli PO Box 266 Merrick, NY 11566 Please be sure to include a self addressed (and stamped) envelope with your order so that we can mail you your tickets. Please note that tickets will be mailed in August. If you do not have yours by Labor Day, please send us an email: salute2ff@aol.com to let us know. ---------------------------- If you're a firefighter, you can help by promoting the event to other firefighters (firefighters are just $5 per ticket and include a free drink). If you're not, pre-sale tickets are just $15 and also include a free drink. -------------------- Having raised over $15,000 for the Children's Burn Camp through the past two Salute to Firefighters, Adam's Angels have decided to support other worthwhile firefighter related charities through the 3rd Annual Salute to Firefighters. Adam’s Angels have never and will never directly accept donations. However, we work tirelessly to help promote and raise funds for various causes that we believe in to help keep the memory of firefighter Adam D. Rand (Firefighter, FDNY Squad 288 & Bellmore Volunteer Fire Department) alive. Adam was killed on September 11, 2001 while saving others.
