Is anyone else gasping in horror? Can you say, overly loud, screaming, children....traffic jams..that horrid pool smell? I am going to miss going to the concerts in the summer, who needs another POOL!?? Am I the only one shaking my head?!

Yes, you are. There are plenty of places for concerts. The community needs the rec center and pool. The concerts only came about because the people who have been working to get the pool reopened for 15+ years let them use it for a couple of summers. The goal has always been for it to be a pool again. If you want concerts, go to some community meetings and get involved in the plan for a concert space in bushwick inlet.
