Swizz Beatz x Joe Jonas Perform At Sounds Like PAPER 2011
(Photos & Videos) By Charles Wall for The Printup List

So the other night Paper Magazine held their Sounds Like PAPER concert in the Williamsburgh section of Brooklyn at House of Vans and the venue was spacious needless to say. Guests were treated to free Coronas (in a can though) and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. First thing I had to get was a beer of course, then came the Cherry Garcia (super hyped!). People were scattered everywhere, blunt smoke was in the air, empty cans and Ben & Jerry’s cups painted the faux-grassy knoll area which my crew and I where located, and eventually the porter-potty line became enormous.
Ok, let’s see some pics and videos….

For all my cyclists out there.

Guests were given the newest edition of Paper Magazine. Funny that Santigold was on the cover and suppose to perform that night, but didn’t.

Told you it was first thing in my hand. Many followed.

I fucked this all the way up. Only if they had Oatmeal Cookie Chunk! Regardless, it was delicious.

My lovely crew, minus 2 others.

Joe Jonas opened and graced the fans with 4 songs off his upcoming album Fast Life.

Of course he had to show fans that he’s all grown up by ditching the blazer.

Truthfully speaking, Joe Jonas held it down. The crowd was dancing and the stans were singing along whilst going ape-shit. I was even caught bopping during the performance.

Swizz Beats closed the show with a bunch of classic snippets from current and past work. For a artist that isn’t the best lyrically, he had the crowd going INSANE. If most artist did what Swizz did I guarantee all their shows would be the dopest. It felt like a club on steroids, times a million. He played hits On to the Next One, Ruff Ryders Anthem, Bring ‘Em Out, and current tracksReebok Back and Everyday (Coolin’) off his new album Haute Living

You have to admit, that Muhammad Ali shirt is too cold.

Reebok Back?
